Kenwood TH-F6A



The Kenwood TH-F6A compact triband handheld raises the bar. This amazing radio transmits in the 144, 200 and 440 amateur bands and has dual channel receive capability. Enjoy full 5 watts output on each band while operating with the supplied 7.4 volt 1550 mAh lithium-ion battery (or external 13.8 VDC power). A low power setting of 0.5 watts and an extra low power output of 0.05 watts is featured. The controls are easy to use and the LCD informs you of the exact status of the radio.
This radio offers sophisticated wideband communications reception. The special "B" band has reception from 100 kHz in to 1300 MHz (less some restricted frequencies) in F2D, F3E (FM), A3A (AM), A1A (CW) and J3E (SSB). That's right, Morse code and single sideband. A built-in Ferrite bar antenna insures reception of medium wave and long wave even without the detachable antenna. There is even a special ten channel weather station mode. Your TH-F6A is ready to add your 1200/9600 TNC (no adapter required).
The TH-F6A is built tough to stringent MIL-STD-810 C/D/E standards and is only 2.3x3.5x1.3 inches 9 oz (58x87x30mm 250g). This HT includes the PB-42L Lithium Ion battery, 120 VAC adapter, belt clip and single high-performance SMA antenna. The supplied manual is in English and Spanish.
